The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis to King Nutronics Corporation (CAGE 13859) for the procurement of the Air Data Calibrator, part number 3688A, in support of Bahrain Defense Force AH-1Z Calibration Standards via Foreign Military Sales Case BA-P-SAO. King Nutronics Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the system described above and is the only known source. The 3688A has the required precision, accuracy and the Probability of False Acceptance (PAF) characteristics required to perform calibration of the Air Data Test Set related to the AH-1Z platform. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
