This synopsis is to inform industry that the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a solicitation to procure a Pilot Valve and Dial (P/N: 1123-1000), Valve Flow Control (P/N: 76917), Valve Safety Relief (P/N: 76160-1), and Float Meter Flow Rate Indicator (P/N: 76159-2) in support of the French Ministry of the Armed Forces (FMoAF) E-2C aircraft. The valves are used to monitor combinations of air flow and air pressure to check leakage and pressure regulation for the A/C Pressurized Cabin Leakage Tester. The Government intends to procure the above items on a sole source basis to Maney Aircraft, Inc. (CAGE: 10000) under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The solicitation, when issued, will be for a firm-fixed price contract. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
