NAWCAD WOLF SYNOPSIS: #N68335-22-R-0286 The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Globecomm Systems, Inc. (Globecomm), CAGE: 02MQ7 for the issuance of a Firm-Fixed-Priced contract. The contract will be for the procurement of one commercial Ku-band ground station satellite communications system, one Radio Frequency (RF) equipment upgrade, and incidental support services in support of the NAWCAD Webster Outlying Field Special Communications Mission Solutions (SCMS) Division. Globecomm is the only manufacturer capable of providing a solution that meets the requirements. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified acquisition procedures (Certain Commercial Items). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
