The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(l), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firmfixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis to Aerospace Control Products, Inc.(CAGE 58918) for the procurement of three (3) Portable Oxygen Regulator Test Stands (PORTS), P/N 3949AS100-3, NIIN 01-698-8227. Aerospace Control Products, Inc is the original designer, developer and manufacturer of the PORTS and is the only source with the requisite system knowledge, experience and technical expertise to fulfill this requirement. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
