The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWC-AD) intends to award a fixed price contract for various pieces of Support Equipment (SE) for the FMS Kuwait F/A-18 E-F Super Hornet Program, Case: KU-P-SBG, FMS India H-60 program, Case: IN-P-SAY, FMS Malaysia F/A-18D program, Case: MF-P-GBN, and FMS Canada F/A-18 program, Case: CN-P-DBG. The various pieces of SE are as follows: Hydraulic Portable Diesel Test Stand (PN: 040489-100), QTY: 3. Hydraulic Portable Test Stand Purifier (PN: 040505-100), QTY: 4. Electric Hydraulic Power Supply (PN: 040499-100, Type: A/M27T-14), QTY: 1. Small Corrosion Control Cart (PN: 051497-100), QTY: 6. Cabin Leakage Pressurized Tester (PN: 111302-100), QTY: 2. Aircraft Engine Pre-Oiler (PN: 061475-100), QTY: 13. Main Hydraulic Console (PN: 4016AS100-1, Type: A/F27T-12), QTY: 4. Pump and Motor Test Console (PN: 4016AS500-1), QTY: 1. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Hydraulics International, Inc. (CAGE 56529) is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the required SE. As the OEM, Hydraulics International, Inc. is the only qualified manufacturer and supplier of each piece of SE and is the only known source that is capable of providing the SE with the same form, fit and function that is compatible with the existing configuration. Therefore, this action will be an establishment of a sole source contract action to Hydraulics International, Inc., located at 9201 Independence Avenue, Chatsworth, CA 91311. Hydraulics International, Inc. is considered a small business under NAICS code 334519. NAWC-AD intends to award this order under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
