The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations with J&S Tool, Inc. (CAGE 1Y4A4) for the procurement of F/A-18 E/F Inner Wing Panel (IWP) Alignment Pins with the respective Part Numbers TD391R11 and TD391R12. IWP Alignment Pins are used during the installation process of an IWP onto an Aircraft. J&S Tool, Inc. is the only known authorized supplier under Boeing agreement SES-M014-16-049 that is able to fully meet USN requirements. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
