The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis to King Nutronics Corporation (CAGE 13859) for the procurement of the Automated Pressure Calibrator (APC), P/N 3666-10K-3, and the Precision Pressure System, P/N 3689A, in support of Bahrain Defense Force AH-1Z Calibration Standards via Foreign Military Sales Case BA-P-SAO. King Nutronics Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the systems described above and is the only known source. The 3666-10K-3 APC and 3689A have the required precision, accuracy and the Test Uncertainty Ratio (TUR) characteristics required to perform calibration of the pressure systems with numerous pressure sensing devices directly related to the AH-1Z platform. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
