This synopsis is to inform industry that the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a solicitation to procure Triaxial, Miniature 11GM (P/N 340A50), 003 Cable, 30-FT (P/N: 003EP030EB), In-Line Charge Converter (P/N: 422E53), 003 Cable, 2-FT (P/N: 003AC002FW), and Low-Noise Coaxial Cable (P/N: 003AC010AC) for T-45 to aid in analyzing reported cockpit vibration issues. The Government intends to procure the above items on a sole source basis to PCB Piezotronics (CAGE: 52681) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) (formerly known as 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) ), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. The solicitation, when issued, will be for a firm-fixed price contract. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
