The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Hydraulics International, Inc. (CAGE: 56529) for the procurement of one (1) Corrosion Control Cart Large, Part Number 051496-100, NSN: 4920-01-536-1925 and one (1) Spares Package, Part Number SPK051496-100 for the French Ministry of the Armed Forces. The procurement will be issued under the authority of Foreign Military Sales case FR-P-GWO, Letter of Offer and Acceptance dated 23 March 2007 between the United States Government and the French Ministry of the Armed Forces. The support and test equipment will be used to clean the lines of large aircraft by injecting water and detergent into turbine engine gas paths. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
