The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Integrated Consultants, Inc. located in El Cajon, CA who is the sole manufacturer for the cable package required to support the MQ-8C Vehicle Management Computer and Payload Interface Unit direct software loading. The proprietary cable package includes P/Ns 9161CBL911-001; 9161CBL910-001; 9161CBL913-001; 9161CBL912-001; 9161CBL909-001; 9161CBL915-001; 9163CBL901-001; 9163CBL902-001; 9161CBL905-001; and 9161CBL904-001. Integrated Consultants developed the subject cables at private expense and the Government does not own the associated proprietary data rights. At this time, the Government is not pursuiong the purchase of the data rights due to unsupportable timeline and cost. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government to not open this requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the Government's discretion. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
