The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis to J&S Tool, Inc. CAGE:1Y4A4 for the procurement of manufacture and delivery of the listed part numbers and their respective quantity, found in attachment 1, for the F/A-18 AYC-1301 Tooling Refurbishment effort. J&S Tool, Inc. is the only known authorized supplier under Boeing agreement SES-M014-16-049 that is able to fully meet USN requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
