The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement of a five (5) year, Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the repair and configuration maintenance of the UxValidator Test Set P/N: 02-1103-01, deemed Not Ready for Issue (NRFI). ULTRAX, Inc. (CAGE: 07PR7) was the selected company to supply the support services for the UxValidator Test Set P/N: 02-1103-01 for the US Navy and FMS partner H-60 helicopters. This notice is a follow-up to the Sources Sought notice N68335-21-R-00179. The proposed contract action is for a requirement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to procure on a sole source basis to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), ULTRAX, Inc. (CAGE: 07PR7). The procurement is for a five (5) year, Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the repair and configuration maintenance of the UxValidator Test Set P/N: 02-1103-01 deemed Not Ready For Issue (NRFI) in support of US Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) partners. The proposed action is for OEM maintenance services for which the Government intends to solicit with only the OEM under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Responsible, interested parties, however, may identify their interest by submitting a capabilities statement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any responses received. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
