The NAVAIR Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program, Lakehurst NJ, intends to award a Fixed Price, purchase order on a non-competitive basis with CI Systems, Inc. (cage 0WB57), for the CK-800R Thermometric Calibration Kit (PN A4511008010) for the calibration of Extended Area Blackbodies used for the AH1 Cobra Target Sight System (TSS). The data rights, drawing, software, etc., of the CK-800R Kit is property of CI Systems and are not available to the Navy to solicit from other sources. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
