The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Lockheed Martin Corporation, located in Liverpool, NY, for the procurement of Advanced Radar Processor (ARP) Line Replaceable Modules (LRM) Protective Storage Cases (Part Number (P/N) 77A600601, NIIN LL-W75-G650). The Protective Storage Cases are designed to protect the connectivity pins on the AN/APY-9 Radar System ARPs LRMs, and are required for the transporting, removal and installation of the AN/APY-9 Radar Modules on board the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Aircraft. Lockheed Martin Corporation owns the proprietary drawing for the ARP LRM Protective Storage Case (P/N 77A600601, NIIN LL-W75-G650) and does not have any authorized distributors. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
