The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a Limited-Competitive basis between Essex Electro Engineers (CAGE 21269) Original Equipment Manufacturer, and their authorized distributor Brighton Cromwell, LLC (CAGE 3NNX8). This limited competition will be for the procurement of one (1) Mobile Electric Power Plant with Part Number C637, NSN 6115-01-600-0405, in support of the FMS, Bahrain Defense Force AH-1Z program. The Government intends to procure the above item(s) under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Synopsis: Hydraulic Component Test Stand - N68335-21-Q-0240 PSC: 6115 NAICS: 335311 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement of one (1) Mobile Electric Power Plant P/N: C637 NSN: 6115-01-600-0405 in support of the FMS: Bahrain H-1 helicopter program. The anticipated award will be made to Essex Electro Engineers (CAGE 21269). Essex Electro Engineers holds the proprietary rights to the drawings, specifications and data necessary to provide the required support equipment to meet the form, fit and function required of this requirement. NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
