The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis to Boonton Electronics, Inc., CAGE 04901, for the procurement of the Peak Power Analyzer, Part Number 4500C-S2, in support of the AH-1Z The Bahrain Defense Force. Boonton Electronics, Inc. is the Original Equipment manufacturer and the only known source of the part described above and the required warranty. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
