The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement of for a quantity three (3) of the FieldFox Handheld Microwave Analyzers, P/N: N9... The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement of for a quantity three (3) of the FieldFox Handheld Microwave Analyzers, P/N: N9917B with Vector Network Analyzer Transmission/Reflection, P/N: N9917B-210 and TDR Cable Measurements P/N: N9917B-215 capabilities, as well as a quantity three (3) of the Calibration Kit, P/N: 85518A). These items are Support Equipment (SE) for testing RF Devices like cables, antennas, filters, amplifiers and signal/spectrum analysis Marine Corps AH-1Z and UH-1Y aircraft. The anticipated award will be made to Keysight Technologies Inc. (CAGE 7ZXR5). Keysight Technologies, Inc holds the proprietary rights to the drawings, specifications and data necessary to provide the FieldFox Handheld Microwave Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer Transmission/Reflection, TDR Cable Measurements and related Calibration Kit. NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
