DESCRIPTION: THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Precision Strike Weapons Program Office, PMA-201, intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source Fixed Price modification to N00019-16-D-1002 to The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO. This requirement is for the following: Two (2) production lots of up to 12,000 units per lot of the Laser Joint Direct Attack Munition (LJDAM) Precision Laser Guidance Sets (PLGS) Direct Sensor Units (DSUs). This requirement is in accordance with the Direct Attack Munition Capability Performance Specification (PMA-201-08-003B). Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) cable kits for BLU-136 and 500 lb. warheads with combined quantities of up to 15,000 kits. Cables must provide serial data interface connection compatible with Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) tailkit variants and compatible with Cockpit-selectable Height of Burst Sensor. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY NOR REIMBURSE ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RESPONDING TO THIS REQUEST.
