The Naval Air Warfare Center – Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCAD LKE) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source firm-fixed-price- contract for the procurement of maintenance of the Systems and Logistics Integration Capability Windows Application Virtual Environment (SLICwave) software to Integrated Support Systems Inc. (ISS) (CAGE: 0H7D0) of Seneca, SC. The software, SLICwave, is proprietary to ISS and no other vendor has authorization nor the capability to modify, update, nor maintain it. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
