Contracting Office Address: Location: Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst Notice Type: Synopsis NAVAIR NAWCAD Lakehurst intends to enter into a firm fixed price sole source purchase order with WISCONSIN OVEN, East Troy, WI for a Quantity of 1, Electrically Heated Enhanced Duty Walk-In Series Oven, P/N EWN-1010-8E. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). WISCONSIN OVEN owns proprietary rights to the engineering data and detailed product drawings. Also Market research was conducted and only one vendor was identified that had a composite curing oven to meet the dimensions needed to fit into the dedicated oven curing room in Jacksonville, FL. This dedicated curing room in Jacksonville, Fl. is currently the only space that can handle a large oven of this type. In addition, the following requirements are needed: vacuum ports, temperature range and rate of cooling. Wisconsin Oven Corporation is the only company found capable of meeting the needed requirements for the P-8 Aircraft. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE.
