Contracting Office Address: Location: Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst Notice Type: Synopsis NAVAIR NAWCAD Lakehurst intends to enter into a firm fixed price sole source delivery order with Better Engineering Manufacturing Inc.,Baltimore, MD quantity of 1 each of PN: RD-W-6000-P, Automatic Parts Cleaning System; PN: ZXX-11, Upper Level Turntable; PN: LWS-F1, Automatic Water Shut Down And Fill; PN: ASX-11-AH, Steam Exhaust System; PN: DRP-11, Drip Leg And Anchor For Exhaust Line; PN: ILF-22-200, In-Line Micron Filter; PN: RFB-22-200, Filter Bag. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Better Engineering Manufacturing Inc. owns all proprietary rights to the engineering data. Better Engineering Manufacturing Inc. is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer. Better Engineering’s RD-W-6000-P parts washer and parts has been designed, tested and approved for use on commercial and military wash applications. Fielding new and different models of like equipment would result in significant duplication of time, costs and efforts. Additionally, cost duplication would drive the need for the government to redo training, logistics support as well as government test. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in a future competition.
