The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a solicitation on a sole-source basis to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Lockheed Martin Corporation (CAGE 98897) for the procurement of Dolly Assembly, APU, Adapter Assembly, APU Dolly, Turnbuckle Adjusting Tool Set, Alignment Fixture Brake, Hoist Fitting Assembly, Propeller Gearbox, Compensator Clamp, Bleed Air, E-TCAS/Iff Test Box, Anti-Skid Test Set, Propeller Flange Plug Assembly And Crimping Tool Set, Contact Pin And Socket in support of the C-130 Fat Albert. Lockheed Martin Corporation is the OEM and owns the Technical Data and will not provide it to any other company. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
