The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a sole source contract to NOR-RAL, Inc., 164 Hickory Springs Industrial dr., Canton, GA 30115, for the procurement of a quantity of two (2) each of the following Lockheed Martin Part Numbers (P/Ns): P/N 972874-101 Spacer Assembly, NSN 5365-01-272-3750; P/N 972874-102 Spacer Assembly, NSN 5365-01-272-3751; P/N 972875-101 Spacer Assembly, NSN 5365-01-272-3752; P/N 972875-102 Spacer Assembly, NSN 5365-01-272-3758; P/N 972877-101 Spacer Assembly, NSN 5365-01-272-3757; and P/N 972877-102 Spacer Assembly, NSN 1560-01-287-3698 in support of the P-3 Program. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The Government does not own current data drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. NOR-RAL, Inc. is the Certified Lockheed Parts Licensee for the required P/Ns, and are the only company with the drawings and specifications to meet the requirements of this procurement. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in a future competition.
