The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Left Hand Design Corporation (LHD) located in Longmont, CO for Tear down, Test and Evaluation (TT&E) and repair for twenty-five (25) Linear Actuators (P/N 4980160-1, LSN 0028918) who is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of this part. These linear actuators (P/N 4980160-1, LSN 0028918) are proprietary to LHD, and LHD offers a warranty for these parts that will be voided if the Government were to procure the repair from any other vendor other than LHD. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
