The Naval surface Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, New Jersey, intends to competitively procure a service for the overhaul, update and modification of five (5) T-6 Nose Wheel Steering (NWS) Actuators (Part Number (P/N) HP1460200-5) to bring them to a fully operational state and compliant with the current configuration (P/N HP1460200-7) as detailed in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Greece. The intention is to competitively award this requirement as a full and open competition. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Delivery will be FOB Origin. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal is technically acceptable, in full compliance to all other requirements set forth in the solicitation and the lowest priced. The Government will release this solicitation, including any subsequent amendments, the beta.SAM.gov website. Amendments to the solicitation, if issued, will be posted to the same website. After solicitation release, vendors should regularly access the website to ensure they have all of the amendments. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: All potential businesses must obtain a DUNS number, a CAGE code, and register in the System for Award Management (SAM) located at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number, a CAGE code and register in the SAM may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror.
