The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with National Precision Bearing (CAGE: 5V122), 8152 304th Ave SE, Preston, WA 98050, for the manufacture, assembly, and delivery of BUSHING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION SET (PN: ASK-ASFCH531608-NAS) in support of the H-53K Helicopter program. National Precision Bearing is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for PN: ASK-ASFCH531608-NAS and is the only company with the technical knowledge, proprietary data, and expertise necessary to manufacture this item. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of the synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
