The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with API / INMET, INC (Cage: 64671) for the procurement of TNC Power Dividers (P/N: 6019, NSN: 5935-01-585-4403), quantity of twenty-four (24) which are manufactured by API / INMET, INC. in support of EA-1G squadron maintenance requirements for the AEA Suite. API / INMET, INC’s TNC Power Dividers are the only equipment compatible with the EA-1G squadron AEA Suite. API / INMET, INC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. API / INMET, INC is the original developer of the TNC Power Dividers that are compatible with EA-1G AEA Suite. The TNC Power Dividers are essential components to support squadron maintenance. The designs are proprietary to API / INMET, INC so API / INMET, INC is the only vendor that can procure the units without disclosure of technical data. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that contains information that may be used by the Government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
