The g... This is a Fixed Price Contract for PSE needed to perform maintenance on the CH-53K. The PSE is integral for the full complement of Support Equipment (SE) needed for initial outfitting of CH-53K. The government is purchasing two (2) Blade Clamp Assy. Lifting Clamp CH53K, Part Number FD8252-15, NSN 1730-01-628-5758. Davis Aircraft Products Co. Inc. is the sole manufacturers of the above of Support Equipment. Furthermore, these pieces of Support Equipment are only used on the CH-53K series of helicopters, no other aircraft in the U.S. inventory utilizes these times. The Government does not have data or drawing rights to permit full and open competition. This is further substantiated by the assignment of the "3H" for the Acquisition Method Code which identifies direct purchase from the manufacturer due to lack of sufficient data. Furthermore, Davis Aircraft Products Co., Inc. does not have any authorized manufacturers of the above Support Equipment. As such, Davis Aircraft Products Co., Inc. is the only source for the above Support Equipment.
