The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Quote (RFQ) to Elbit Systems of America, LLC, ESA on a sole source basis for a quantity of four (4) Helmet Mounted Display Test Set, P/N 620900-02-01 in support of the FMS Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) F/A-18. The Government intends to procure the above service under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the data rights. A competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
