The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWC-AD LKE) intends to release a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the establishment of a 5-year, fixed-price, Indefinite-Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for the procurement V-Tail Installation Tool Sets, Part Number (P/N) 4106AS0285-1, National Stock Number (NSN) 4920-01-667-6804 for the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) Programs in support of the United States Navy, Partner Countries and Foreign Military Sales customers. The V-Tail Installation Tool Set consists of a V-Tail Tools Case, V-Tail Bearing Alignment Tool Assembly, V-Tail Guide Pin and Ruddervator Torque Adapter. The V-Tail Installation Tool Set is used at the Organizational Level of maintenance to remove and install the V-Tail Assembly. The guaranteed minimum is two (2) units, with a maximum quantity of twenty-four units over the life of the contract. This procurement is intended to be a total small business set-aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.5. Please note that this requirement involves export-controlled drawings and thus any vendor interested in proposing must possess a certified, active DD Form 2345. This announcement is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or obligation to issue a future solicitation.
