The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Mainstream Engineering Corporation, Rockledge, FL, for a quantity of one hundred forty eight (148) Lenticular Lenses for the MK 8 Fresnel Lens Optical Landing System (FLOLS) in support of Expeditionary Airfields (EAF). The Part Quantities and Part Numbers are as follows: - Quantity 116 : Amber Lenticular Lens, P/N: N2562-42554-1 (NSN 6210-00-862-5648); - Quantity 32: Red Lenticular Lens, P/N: N2562-44952-1 (NSN 6210-00-974-0031). The Government does not have the detailed data rights for this effort. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C ) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
