The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a fixed price purchase order for Oil Samples to support daily operation of the A/E35U-4A Oil Analysis Spectrometer being procured under contract N6833517D0025 on a sole source basis with Spectro Scientific Inc. These oil samples are required by the Spectrometer for daily accuracy and performance checks, and are required to be on hand for on-site training. Oil Samples are defined as: P/N CS-24-100-200G (200g of oil standard labeled as CS24-100) Oil standard containing 100 ppm of following 24 elements as measured by Atomic Emission Spectrometers: Fe, Ag, Al, Cr, Cu, Mg, Na, Ni, Pb, Si, Sn, Ti, B, Mo, Zn, Ba, Cd, Mn, V, Ca, K, Li, P & As, P/N 600-00152 (200g of oil standard labeled as D15X-100) Oil standard containing 100 ppm of following 15 elements as measured by Atomic Emission Spectrometers: Ba, Cd, Mn, V, Ca, K, Li, P, As, Bi, Ce, Co, In, W & Zr P/N 600-00151 (200g of oil standard labeled as D30-0) Oil standard containing 0 ppm of following 30 elements as measured by Atomic Emission Spectrometers: Fe, Ag, Al, Cr, Cu, Mg, Na, Ni, Pb, Si, Sn, Ti, B, Mo, Zn, Ba, Cd, Mn, V, Ca, K, Li, P, As, Bi, Ce, Co, In, W & Zr As the OEM of the A/E35U-4A Oil Analysis Spectrometer, Spectro Scientific Inc. is the only known and verified supplier of the oil standards that can properly package and label standards for fleet use. NAWCADLKE intends to award this order under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
