The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to procure a quantity of 350 AIRLINX part number 190-2009-051 air start screen/strainer to be included in hoses used with the Mobile Air Start Unit (MSU-200NAV) part number 4505453, NIIN 01-480-5126. This procurement is to address hose failure and resulting chunks of rubber that may damage equipment/aircraft. The MSU-200NAV is a mobile gas turbine powered jet air start unit that provides pneumatic power for aircraft main engine start (MES), running the on-board ECS and performing maintenance actions on aircraft that do not have onboard APUs. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price type contract. Packaging and marking for shipping shall be in accordance with best commercial practices and all quantities shall be delivered to Lakehurst, NJ, 08733, FOB Destination. Delivery shall be no later than 13 May 2019. Early deliveries are acceptable. This is a 100% set-aside for small business. Contractors must be registered in SAM. This requirement shall follow simplified acquisition procedures. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
