The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to sole-source procure one prototype kit and 72 production Hand Pump Kits for the P-25A Shipboard Firefighting Vehicle Program from The Entwistle Company of Hudson, MA. Each kit includes a hand pump, adapter bracket, instruction plate, and ancillary mounting hardware and hydraulic fittings. The action is based on Entwistle being the original equipment manufacturer and designer of the proprietary bracket with the configuration knowledge needed for P-25A integration, under FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation will be available; responses will be considered solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
