The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to conduct a limited-source competition between OEM Glenair and its authorized distributors for new fiber optic adapters and tools. These items support critical maintenance and fault isolation for the E-2 aircraft platform, including the Radar Auxiliary Rack, Radar Receiver, Mission Computer, and other critical systems. The equipment is required for the U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales partners, including France and Japan. The acquisition is pursued under sole-source authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 because only one responsible source will satisfy agency requirements, so no solicitation is available.
