NAWCAD Lakehurst, NJ is seeking industry information on vendor sources capable of manufacturing, assembling, and producing one Land Based Air Conditioner (P/N 197K2000-100, NSN 4120-01-598-3712) for the E-2D aircraft in support of Foreign Military Sales to the Japan Air Self Defense Force under case JA-P-CVT. The Government lacks the technical data needed for a competitive procurement and is using this RFI solely for information and acquisition planning. Interested sources should provide company details, manufacturing capabilities and examples, relevant history, a rough order of magnitude, applicable standards, and quality assurance certifications. This RFI does not constitute a solicitation, responses are not offers, and the Navy will not award a contract or pay costs based on the information submitted. Proprietary information must be marked page-by-page and will be safeguarded; responses are not returned and respondents will not be notified of review results.
