This solicitation is for the procurement of two (2) Moving Bridge Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for the measurement of General Electric T408 Jet Engine Compressor Rotors and Stators in accordance with the attached Solicitation N68335-25-R-0269. For access to the Government provided documents associated with this solicitation, please send a request with an approved DD2345 via E-Mail to the address shown below no later than 4 pm Monday, 27 January 2025 referencing this post and requesting access. Interested Offerors must be U.S. Government contractors and/or U.S. DoD contractors. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, which can be accessed at www.sam.gov. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit required information for this effort as described in the RFP. The response date for proposal submission is 12:00 PM EST, 20 February 2025. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has a requirement for the acquisition of two (2) Moving Bridge Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) in support of the CH-53K Program. The CMMs will be used for the measurement of General Electric T408 Jet Engine Compressor Rotors and Stators as part of the Depot Level Maintenance on the T408 Engine. Existing Naval machinery does not support the required capabilities for T408 Grind & Balance Effort. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at: https://www.sam.gov/SAM/. The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price contract. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.401(b), this requirement will be a full and open competition.
