The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Viavi Solutions LLC for the procurement of IFF-45TSL Test Sets to support Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) transponders, IFF interrogators, and tactical air navigation (TACAN) transceivers to support the United States (U.S.) Navy fleet. The Government intends to issue a five year Basic Ordering Agreement with Viavi Solutions LLC, the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the IFF-45TSL Test Sets. Viavi Solutions LLC is the sole designer, developer and distributor of the required Test Sets. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Responses must be sent via email to the POC list.
