SYNOPSIS O2 Mask, Regulator, Helmet, and Communication Test Set The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to issue an award on a non-competitive basis to Gentex Corporation (Cage 60240) for the materials and services as required to manufacture, assemble, and produce a quantity of six (6), part number G006-2300-06, O2 Mask, Regulator, Helmet, and Communication Test Set, NSN: 4920-01-656-4283. A quantity of four (4) for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force E-2D Aircraft and a quantity of two (2) for the French Ministry of Defense E-2D Aircraft. This is a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) procurement for Japan FMS Case JA-P-CVL and France FR-P-SBM. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a) (1), FAR 6.302-1only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based on the response to this notice, is solely in the discretion of the Government. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
