The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, is officially releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP) as Total Small Business Set Aside. This effort manufacturing/machining of LOT/ITEM ADU-1062/E Adapter, Ground Handling (P/N: 4200AS0620-1) and LOT/ITEM Spacer, Foundation Support (P/N: 4200AS0649-1), in support of the NGJ program. Solicitation N68335-24-R-0259. The RFP, Pricing Spreadsheet (Attachment 1), Solicitation (Attachment 2), Statement of Work (Attachment 3) and Question & Response Form (Attachment 4) are attached to this solicitation. For access to the Government provided drawing documents, please send a request with an approved DD2345 via E-Mail to the address shown below, referencing this post and requesting access. The interested offerors must be U.S. Government contractors and/or U.S. DoD contractors. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, which can be accessed at www.sam.gov. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit required information for this effort as described in the RFP. The response date for proposal submission is 4:00 PM EDT, 6 November 2024.. All questions and inquiries regarding this solicitation shall be submitted via E-Mail. AMENDMENT 0001: 29 October 2024, 8:45am: The response date for proposal submission is extended until 4:00PM EST, 6 November 2024. Please submit all proposals prior to then for inclusion. AMENDMENT 0002: 6 November 2024, 3:45pm: This amendment: 1. Extends the proopsal submission deadline to 26 November 2024 at 4:00pm EST. 2. Responds to the following questions: 1. Q: 4200AS0627 17-4 is not supplied in tube and requires gun-drilling to achieve inner diameter. Is this the intention? A: Yes it is expected that the vendor will be required to purchase the solid bar and drill out the center to achieve the inner diameter. 2. Q: Do you want pricing in accordance with Attachment 1 excel sheet or in accordance with the max and step ladder pricing lister per CLIN in the solicitation? A: Please complete the spreadsheet using the highest priced value (Lowest quantity) per CLIN AMENDMENT 0003: 14 November 2024, 3:40pm: This amendment is to respond to several questions regarding the shock testing. PLEASE NOTE: Shock testing is NOT required by the vendor. The shock testing was already performed on the prototype units as part of the qualification of the design and a note was added to the TDP for tracking purposes. The only load testing required by the contractor is the proof load testing identified in Note 2 on drawing 4200AS0620.
