The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ anticipates soliciting a firm-fixed price acquisition for the items listed below: One hundred twenty-six (126) Panasonic Toughbook, Part Number FZ-40CZ-0DAM. The Panasonic Toughbook shall include a Laptop (Part Number FZ-40CZ-0DAM) and Laptop Power Cord (Part Number CF-AA5713A2M). Retrofit one hundred four (104) Legacy P-8 Maintenance Laptop Sets, Part Number 4091AS1000-1 to Part Number 4091AS1000-2 in accordance with Government drawings. Manufacture and deliver a minimum of twenty-three (23) and a maximum of one hundred (100) P-8 Maintenance Laptop Sets, Part Number 4091AS1000-2 over a five (5) year period. The Government’s intent is to release a competitive small business set-aside Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government intends to award on a Lowest Price / Technically Acceptable basis. Further requirements will be posted to the PIEE website on or about 15 September 2024. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be mailed. The Government anticipates that the RFP will be released under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334111. NO FORMAL SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a full and open competition basis in accordance with the statutory authority of Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 and the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice.
