The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a limited competition with Advanced Energy, (CAGE: 1TC87) (Formally TEGAM), and their authorized distributors, for the procurement of R1L-E2A Micro-Ohmmeter, total quantity of 28, in support of the F/A-18 Program. This acquisition is being pursued under the limited competition basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the government will consider all responses received within 15 calendar days after the date of publication of the synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
