The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation, CAGE 16331, located at 100 Global Innovation CIR, Orlando, Florida 32825-5003 for the fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, integration, production, testing, demonstration, and delivery of Full Rate Production (FRP) AN/USM-737, electronic Consolidated Automated Support System (eCASS), Radio Frequency Mission Equipment Kits configuration hardware systems and related equipment, including Self Maintenance and Test/Calibration (SMAT/CAL) Operational Test Program Sets (OTPSs), Calibration Equipment Suites/Kits, Shore Installation Kits and Ship Installation Kits, and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) in support of PMA-260. This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 15 calendars days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
