The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Blue Moon Designs, LLC (CAGE: 74XB0) of Bend, OR, for the procurement of MX5+ HeliLadder with DOD Upgrades; PN: MX5-KIT-USN; Qnt. 20; HeliLadder 2' Extension Interfaces with MX5-KIT-USN; PN: MX-2EXT-USN; Qnt. 10; and HeliLadder 4' Extension Interfaces with MX5-KIT-USN; PN: MX-4EXT-USN; Qnt. 6, in support of performing routine maintenance tasks on the TH-73A aircraft. This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the government will consider all responses received within 15 calendar days after the date of publication of the synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
