The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with GPS Source Inc., CAGE: 1RTJ5 for the issuance of a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The IDIQ will be for the procurement of the GPS Source Inc. Global Positioning System (GPS) signal splitters and GPS antennas in support of United States Special Operations Command Family of Specialized Operations Vehicles (FOSOV). The Government anticipates delivery orders to be issued on a Firm-Fixed-Price basis. GPS Source Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and sole distributor of the GPS Signal Splitters and GPS Antennas. The GPS Source Inc. GPS Signal Splitters and GPS Antennas are the only Signal Splitters and Antennas compatible with the existing FOSOV platforms and comply with established Military Specifications and Electromagnetic Environment Effects Requirements. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
