The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Siemens Inc., (CAGE: 0DZG1) of Reston, VA, for the procurement of two (2) NX Mach 3 Product Design software licenses, NX93100 and two (2) software license maintenance agreements, NX93100-MT, to support Government Engineering and Logistical reviews of E-2D Technical Drawing Packages (TDPs). This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the government will consider all responses received within 15 calendar days after the date of publication of the synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
