The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation, CAGE 16331, located at 100 Global Innovation CIR, Orlando, Florida 32825-5003 for the fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, integration, production, testing, demonstration, and delivery of Full Rate Production (FRP) AN/USM-737, electronic Consolidated Automated Support System (eCASS) hardware systems, fourth (4th) generation Electro Optical (EO4) console production, EO4 interim sustainment support, and related ancillary equipment, including Self Maintenance and Test/Calibration (SMAT/CAL) Operational Test Program Sets (OTPSs), Calibration Equipment Suites/Kits, Shore Installation Kits and Ship Installation Kits, and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). This requirement is in support of PMA-260. This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the government will consider all responses received within 15 calendar days after the date of publication of the synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This Request for Information (RFI) notice is to solicit comments, questions and feedback from industry to meet the general requirements described above.
