(CAGE 4YT72) ... The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a fixed price purchase order, on a sole-source basis to Qualisys North America, Inc. (CAGE 4YT72) for motion capture cameras. The Qualisys system is the only system that has IP67 rated cameras that allow the cameras to be operated in a harsh outdoor environment that will be found on a ship deck. They are the only vendor that sell cameras that are compatible with Qualisys mocap system. Qualiysis North America, Inc. is the only company that can provide the motion capture cameras that meet the need of the RISE lab. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. This notification is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
