It is the Government's intention to go sole source to the Original Equipment Manager (OEM). Nuvair (CAGE 3GSC2), as the OEM has the required technical and engineering expertise and the manufacturing data for the 12-Tank Air/Nitrogen Storage Racks and 415 Reducing Regulator & Mounts. The storage racks are equipped with four-point lift eyes and fork slots for use by hoist, crane or forklift. Twelve (12) 4500psi ISO rated hydro tanks with CGA347 valves will be included with the storage racks as well as a stainless steel tube manifold, two inlet valves and two outlet valve per rack. The Reducing Regulator & Mounts include a reducing regulator, mounting plate, 6000psi gauges, and connection plumbing. The regulator allows for maximum inlet pressure of 6000psi and maximum outlet pressure of 5000psi. This equipment is specifically developed by Nuvair and will be used to conduct maintenance on the Cold Spray systems that are in use at the Marine Aviation Logistics Squadrons (MALS). The storage racks are a unique design in that they not only store the nitrogen tanks but can provide capability to utilize the tanks without removing them. Nuvair owns the proprietary rights to the engineering data and detailed drawings for the 12-Tank Air/Nitrogen Storage Racks and 415 Reducing Regulator & Mount. Nuvair as the OEM is the only qualified manufacturer and supplier of the said equipment, and is the only company capable of providing the above equipment of the same form, fit and function that is meets the USMC H-1 Program’s maintenance requirements.
