The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst in support of Prototype and Manufacturing (PMTD) is seeking sources that can provide tools to support the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Tool Control Program. Potential sources shall be required to provide the tools on the attached list. This procurement is for a quantity of 42 each STN20201120 Drill and Reamer Kits, 55 each STNWA01200 Clocking Brackets, 42 each STN410R Versa Carts, and 115 each STNKTQIHS-500 Spanners, which are manufactured by Gould Southern. The kits have been previously designed, tested, and validated specifically for the JSF maintenance tasking. The kits provides the fleet with the capability of ensuring that all tools are accounted for upon completion of the maintenance tasks. DFARS 252.225-7015 will apply to this action, thus all "Hand or measuring tools delievered under this contract shall be produced in the United States or its outlying areas." Potential sources must suppy their complete warrany from the OEM flowed down to the Government. Response to this RFI shall be sent by email to Jane Bednarczyk at jane.bednarczyk.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 4:30 P.M. EDT, 08 November 2022. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATON (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government will pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not resonding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the SAM.gov website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monito this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
